Central medallion shows an allegory of the Earth, richly adorned with jewels. In the corners of the pale square are three peacocks and a bird. Red medallions decorate the (patched) border, with highly stylised acanthus foliated scrolls (upper section) and rosettes (lower section), with cockerels in the axes (cf FT 72).
