Colonnaded decoration with a Nereid astride a sea monster at each end and a huntsman in the centre. On the clavi, nude warriors or hunters alternate with four-legged animals and stylised plants in the foliated scroll medallions. (Same garment as FT 2).

The hatched colours on which stands out a (haloed) Nereid replace the speckled weft of our piece. The scene is based on the bacchanalian dance of Lucien’s mime.
